General information

Cape Town International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 25km from Stellenbosch and it will be your arrival airport for the congress. It is the second largest airport of South Africa and offers direct connections to some European, Middle Eastern and American destinations. However, the main airport, OR Tambo International Airport near Johannesburg, forms the main connection to South Africa. From there a host of daily flights with various domestic airlines (such as Mango, Kulula, British Airways, South African Airways) will take you to Cape Town in about 2 hours.

Should you be flying through OR Tambo in Johannesburg, you will have the option of interrupting your journey there (before or after the congress) to make an excursion to the Kruger National Park. Keep this in mind when booking your flights. Package deals will be available on request. This will be an excellent opportunity to add an African holiday to your congress programme!
