Further Travelling In South Africa

We have negotiated discounts (between 10-15% on selected travel packages) with two preferred online travel agents. Discount is offered on pre- and post-congress Kruger National Park safaris, Garden Route tours, and day excursions from Stellenbosch to Cape Town and environment (for accompanying persons). You may consider taking one of the tours (e.g. Kruger Park safari) before the congress, and the other (e.g. Garden Route tour) after the conference. Please remember to book your flights accordingly. The Kruger National Park safaris depart from Johannesburg OR Tambo airport, while the Garden Route tours depart from Cape Town International airport, or from Stellenbosch.

For Kruger National Park safaris:

You can make enquiries and reservations through the website of Kruger Park Travel, our preferred provider.

We recommend that you look at the Classic safaris, which offer different price and accommodation options.

When enquiring about your safari option, add the note “IOSOT2016 Congress” in the second last box (with the heading “Tell us a bit more about your travel plans”). The travel agent will then know that you qualify for the congress discount, and will quote accordingly. The discount will be between 10-15%, depending on which package you select.

Furthermore, take note that these tours depart from Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. When making you flight booking, make sure that you plan the stopover in Johannesburg en route to Cape Town International Airport (which is the nearest to Stellenbosch where IOSOT2016 will take place).

For Garden Route tours:

Our preferred provider for these tours is 34 Degrees South.
