Since accommodation options in the central town of Stellenbosch — within walking distance from the congress venues — are starting to fill up, it is advisable to book your accommodation as soon as possible, if you have not done so already.
The early-bird registration in various categories is still open until 30 June 2016. However, it will help the organising committee if you can complete your registration as soon as possible. Those scholars whose paper proposals have been approved should also make sure that they register at their earliest convenience, but not later than 30 June 2016. Please visit the Registration and Reservations page to start your registration.
The Call for Papers for the IOSOT congress and affiliated organisations and research groups closed on 31 March 2016. We are very excited to report that we had an overwhelmingly positive response. In stead of the anticipated 200 papers in the short paper sessions of all the affiliated organisations, we received significantly more. After the peer reviewing process that was conducted by scholars in each organisation, 240 paper proposals were given the green light! Additional to those, there will be 15 main speakers and approximately 30 panellists in the seminar sessions. We can therefore look forward to a busy and exciting congress where a total of approximately 285 participants will share their expertise in the field.
